Firstly, I’d like to wish all our readers a very happy new year! Incompletegeek took a break over Christmas but there are lots of reviews, previews and tech news stories in the pipeline so please keep visiting or follow @incompletegeek on twitter. Alternatively you can subscribe to the blog to get email alerts about new posts. These emails will only ever be post alerts; no spam, newsletters or other will ever be sent and your email address will not be passed on to third-parties.
The innovative Mvbii Zing Smartwatch Activity Tracker, the RSI-beating Penclic mouse and the surprisingly excellent VR Shinecon virtual reality headset are just some of the exciting products that will get the incompletegeek attention over the next month.
Will the Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Flex help you keep those resolutions (you know, the ones you made whilst nursing a hangover and feeling sorry for yourself on New Year’s day, the ones that most people have already broken) and is the Zing a worthy competitor to the established fitness trackers? The Jogger QY7 Bluetooth Earphones are really cheap but are they any good? How does the Eachine Bar 2.1 stand up in Part 2 of our cheap bluetooth speaker shootout (Part 1 here)? Is the Walkera Runner 250 still in one piece and what are my impressions now that I have put a few battery packs through it (Part 2 coming soon*)? So many questions remain unanswered but not for long!
It’s going to be a fantastic year so stay tuned…
*Spoiler: it’s great although it isn’t a real racer for the same reasons that make it a good beginner 250 racing quad: it is stable, very easy to fly and fast in a straight line whilst being easy in the corners. I have really enjoyed flying FPV with goggles but it isn’t “twitchy” enough to be used for racing.
